Howdy,
I'm finding that with two little kids, two jobs, a wife, starting University (you're never too old), home reno's, etc, I'm not really left with much free time to work on tyrannozaurus proper. Changes... -The forum has become a bit of a ghost town, so I'm thinking I'll disable it and make an off-line copy available. -"it's a good Linux morning podcast" has been moved to a dot com address and we're planning on starting up again in a few months (before Christmas). -I'm willing to offer compilers and/or Zaurus enthusiasts an FTP account and your own Zaurus website (and feed), 4free. I'll hook you up with: http://youralias.tyrannozaurus.com and a gig of space. (send me a msg if this interests you). I just ask that it have some Zaurus related stuff on the site, and please try not to get slash dotted. |

Thanks for doing it while you could. Sounds like you have plenty of good reason to move on to other endeavors. I haven't done much posting there (or here for a while now), but I do lurk often, albeit briefly, just to keep up with what's happening.

I'm sorry about that. Many of us are dealing with similar life issues. Thanks very much for all your work and efforts, they have been very helpful, especially for people with little knowledge, like me.
Greets, and good luck in every task. |

Antikx, we are so grateful for all you've done, yet it is a shame that such a great resource would fade away...
Is there any way we could help? Other than money, as I'm still working that one out myself... Ppyo ------------- Zaurus SL-C1000, Cacko 1.23 EeePC 4G, Ubuntu-eee |

I'm new to the zaurus scene and appreciate all the amazing work on the Tyrannozaurus.com site.
I only recently figured out how to actually access all the goods on it! (/old) I understand it is the reality of real life costs and time to not be able to keep up the site, although selfishly, I hope it could continue to exist! Regardless, I, and all zaurus users would benefit greatly from the information of the site to be preserved and shared somehow. A pdf or other type of collection of the entire site would be a godsend. |

First off, thanks for all the encouragement and offers to help. Regarding $, because of donation(s) I haven't had to pay anything out of my pocket yet (thankas to the donations). Renewal is coming up in Dec/Jan, so if you wish to donate, that's a good time.
Secondly, sorry if I wasn't clear... No worries, tyrannozaurus.com isn't going to fade away. I was simply suggesting some changes. Oh, and I'll keep the forum open, since it sounds like you guys want it open. Works for me. And I won't remove the handbook. there's already a fair amount of good info in there. If people wish to contribute, working on the handbook is a great way to do that. Any takers on having their own site? You would get: -your own sub-domain: whateveryouwant.tyrannozaurus.com -ftp account -ssh account -1GB space if your interested, reply below or send me a PM. |

I may be interested when pdaX2 gets out (for hosting packages), but until (and maybe not even) then, I have no need.
If your offer is still open if and when that point comes about, then I'll take you up on it. Thank you much for the generous offer, however! |

I had one taker.
Anyone else want to have their own space to blog about Zaurus stuff and store Zaurus files? I should also add that I would be happy to install a Wordpress or Drupal blog for you if you would like. |

I still live.
It was indeed taken over by spam and the hosting company took the site down. Sorry about that. I have some plans for a site upgrade in the new year. Stay tuned. |

You should consider having Ibiblio host your stuff. They've supported us for several years now and they pay for everything (college run non-profit). We've only had to pay for domain renewals for the last couple years. |
