Hi. I'm wondering what portable external keyboards people recommend for use with the C3000 (or C1000). I'm looking for something equivalent to the Stowaway folding keyboards (http://www.thinkoutside.com/).
Thanks, Marc |

Thanks. I didn't even realize that Stowaway made a USB one. Please confirm it worked well, when your C3000 arrives.

I'm thinking about getting this Fujitsu mobile keyboard with my SL-C1000. Any thoughts on whether it should work?

Hi,
I too have Fellows stowaway USB keyboard, ordered through CompUSA. This is compact when folded, but one downside is when it's in use, this keyboard requires fully flat relatively wide desk space because of its extra inches left and right. Also pretty expensive. I also tried Logitech USB keyboard for Playstation2. This is good compact keyboard and also cheap ($19.99 at Fry's). So, if you don't need foldable type or don't want to spend $70 for keyboard, think about this option. |

I have the Fellowes USB Stowaway for my 6k. Works like a champ (I mean, excluding the obvious problems with the 6k's keyboard mapping--that's a problem no matter what your keyboard is).
But seriously, it's nice. It's a decent backup keyboard, although it obviously feels a little flimsy due to its size/construction (and it's still hinged in the middle when unfolded, so feels weird unless on a flat firm surface). The 6k+keyboard+homemade stand fits into a pretty compact package. I think the "Happy Hacking Keyboard Lite2 USB" looks like a good tiny keyboard for a bit more solid feel (and the built-in hub would make it good for connecting a mouse as well). But I haven't tried that one. -->VPutz |

Has anybody tried THIS USB to IRDA FOB and used it with a foldable ir keyboard (such as the targus or other ir keyboard)?
