any pdf viewers out there capitalize on the 640x480 resolution ? I installed qpdf2 and it functions, but the viewer obviously was made for the lower resolutions.

I have qpdf2 running on my C860 and it works fine.
It uses the full resolution in landscape mode. Have you unticked the "Display with magnified screen" box? Click on the qpdf icon for a couple of seconds until a window opens up. Then you'll see the magnified screen tick box. If you untick it, the app will run in full screen landscape mode. - Mark p.s. You may have better luck posting in one of the more general forums.
