can anyone suggest a good wifi search and scan program for my zaurus 3k & 870. I need it for detecting wifi network and connect to the w/network easily without keying all the setting.

irongeek's site has a very detailed description for some software which might be useful for you:

however he's using openzaurus - nevertheless some of this software will also work with other roms, so you might want to check at the specific software's homepage (or www.elsix.org) as well...
i personally use wellenreiter on my c3000 (original sharp rom):

mine does, but you will need the hostap drivers or install cacko 1.22 rom which includes them.
