I was wondering if Eclipse would run on the zaurus. It is a java program, unless I'm mistaken, so it should be cross-platform. Has anybody had any experience with this?
Thanks! |

Has anybody had any experience with this? Thanks! This requires java 1.4 or later and uses 300MB of RAM! there is not java 1.4 for arm... only 1.3 |

I guess that would account for me not hearing about it.
Thanks for answering my question. |

Swing apps use floating point, and arm cpu hasn't it. So they are so slow...
Try jvider. it's a simple app for gui creation. See how it's slow, then think how will be slow netbeans or eclipse (on my p3 650mhz netbeans doesn't work!). |
