I was wondering if Eclipse would run on the zaurus. It is a java program, unless I'm mistaken, so it should be cross-platform. Has anybody had any experience with this?

Thanks!

This requires java 1.4 or later and uses 300MB of RAM! there is not java 1.4 for arm... only 1.3

I guess that would account for me not hearing about it.

Thanks for answering my question.

Swing apps use floating point, and arm cpu hasn't it. So they are so slow...
Try jvider. it's a simple app for gui creation. See how it's slow, then think how will be slow netbeans or eclipse (on my p3 650mhz netbeans doesn't work!).
