Hello,
My zaurus C3K has a very bad autonomy, something like an hour... In fact when I received it, the Z didn't want to turn on, so I've changed my power supply polarity. The problem is that I've heard that the Zaurus doesn't have polarity protection. On my battery it's written "3.7V" and my adapter was set on 4.5V until now. My actual polarity is -o)+. Is it bad ? Thank you |

May not be that bad, but it certainly can't be good

The Zaurus AC socket is tip-positive. (so +o)- )
Reversing the polarity doesn't damage the battery, it damages the zaurus, instantly blowing one or two fuses in the battery charging circuit. There's a couple of threads about obtaining and replacing the fuses; although I'm not sure if there are any photos of the fuses in a c3000k atm. |
