The video (at the end of the page) and the specifications you will found here are enough to understand what I can feel now:

I am interested in this device. Looks great and the specs sounds good to me. Think this will be my Z replacement. |

I am pretty excited about this, but would always prefer
1. A lower price (Current Estimate is $750) 2. Clamshell 3. Have it available right now!!! Once this gets released I will be very tempted - even more if Ubuntu portable will work.... Has anyone on the forum pre-ordered yet? |

Looks nice, but I'll wait until my Z dies (and my N810) before getting another handheld. I'm proud to run things until they die or don't do what I want anymore quickly (bare minimum, really).

Same here. 2 working Z's, a phone and a laptop are quite enough. I'll save the replacements until driven by necessity. |

The new kohjinsha SC3 also looks very nice - just a tad bigger than the fujitsu u810/u1010 but with a full keyboard!

Not nearly as strong as the UX in spec's same size screen and not that much smaller. For around $299 it would be fine but $700 plus ... not so good. I like the look of it though.
Presently own one remaining Z C1000, a Samsung Q1 (Celeron) and a UX280P. Would have to be able to replace one before getting another. Though soon the Samsung will be replaced with a eeepc with the TS mod. |

OK, call me crazy, but I took the plunge last week and ordered an Aigo P8860, basically same hardware as Gigabyte M528...seller is 'inetbros' on eBay in HongKong. It came very quickly, in about 2 days!
Anyway, nice lil' device...bit slimmer/trimmer than the OQO E2 that I had for awhile.. It runs Midinux, which is OK, and comes most apps that most people need/want...only bad thing is that it's fairly well 'locked down' as it has no installer app for adding/removing programs.... Several people on other forums (UMPCPortal.com and Pocketables.net) bought them as well and we're all trying to find a way to either 'unlock' this thing or get another linux distro on it... UMPCPortal Forum post One guy has been able to boot up Ubuntu and run apps...most things working, but not all... Aigo - Ubuntu Another post with some good photos of device, apps, etc: Pocketables.net Forum - Aigo Overview Several others including myself, have been trying some other variants of Ubuntu; Ubuntu Moblin, MID, etc...but haven't been able to get it to boot yet.... Anyway, still a fun device and hopefully, will have some more options for it soon.... You guys should at least check this lil' puppy out...either at the forums mentioned above or check some vids over at YouTube... Would be great if some of the brilliant minds here got involved on this one... |

thanks for that.
it's a shame they didn't have a five-row keyboard; I guess you'd get used to not having the numbers directly available. it's going to be quite interesting to see how Nokia will fight back with the next model after the N800/N810 series - the tablets do lack for CPU and graphics performance. |
