![]() The Nokia 770 is a huge deal for all the Linux PDA fans outside of Japan. For the first time since the Zaurus 6000 was discontinued, we have a production Linux PDA widely available (at your local CompUSA even). Hopefully Nokia will support their developers better than Sharp has, and bring additional devices to market in the future. I've made a feature comparison chart between the Nokia 770 and Sharp C-760 here: http://www.markandjo.com/markblog/?p=86 I've also included several side-by-side pictures to attempt to show the differences in form factor and screens. Links to the pictures are just below the chart. Please let me know if there are any other pictures you would like to see, and I'll try to take some more. |

Parts of maemo are not GPL, it is LGPL (and gtk is LGPL), so there is no violation of license if Nokia keeps their libraries closed source. |

nicee to see you are still around, lpotter
I would really like a keyboard, yet I'd really like to buy and support nokia (though I think I prefer my 3100) for doing this. If I didn't have a 6000 for my wife to browse on I'd buy one..it is perfect for her, no so much so for me. |

Yeah, I just ordered mine. It should be on the way. I wish there was a keyboard that came with it too, but i have been looking at the Stowaway Bluetooth laptop. It looks pretty sweet. http://www.thinkoutside.com/products/xtbtu...bt_product.html
