QUOTE(neo_com_3 @ Jun 30 2007, 06:18 AM) Do you have any ideas why I do not have inetd? No idea. But you don't need inetd (or xinetd) in order to start pure-ftpd (or any other network service). Your best bet is to ask the pure-ftpd people. |

QUOTE(neo_com_3 @ Jun 30 2007, 08:15 AM) Can you send me this file? No I don't have it either. One of the startup scripts /etc/rc.d/init.d/inet has a reference to /usr/sbin/inetd but I don't have /usr/sbin/inetd. /etc/rc.d/init.d/inet is provided by the package vendor-tweaks which I believe is part of the base system. The feed doesn't list inetd or xinetd. Like I said, the quickest to get it up and running is to ask the pure-ftpd people. |
