Dear Zbedic Authors,
i am using Zaurus SL-C3000 with these files below. 1.zbedic_0.9.6-0_arm.ipk 2.zhen-0.9.0.dic.dz 3.en-0.9.0.dic.dz 4.enzh-kk.dic.dz 5.en-wikipedia_0.9.5_20050209.dic.dz(412MB) Yesterday,I tested the new zbedic. i found that ... 1.No matter the wikipedia file is stored at SD card or c3000 HDD, the searching speed and typing words speed of Wikipedia is slow. 2.decreasing the valus of [Words in list] to minimal 8,it shows a faster response. 3.Since i have installed Wikipedia,the Zbedic programe starts slowly. I hope to add a button of turning off the incremetal search feature, so that we can start search after the whole word is typed. Perhaps,this may have a faster response when we are using Wikipedia. or decreasing the minimal values of [Words in list] . But i think this minimal values[eg.1,2] may not be convenient for using the other small size dictionaries. Thank You. someonehoi |

These are known problems. To solve 3., you can select "Fast load". Currently I don't have time to fix these problems, but they are on my TODO list. |

It's a 400+M file, one would expect it to be slow. All of the other dictionaries are quite small in comparison. If you grab the 250M wiki, you'll notice a huge jump in improvement. |

 Comparing with the c3000 build in dictionary kojien+translator=747mb, It start to searchs after the whole word is typed. but Zbedic searchs letter by letter, therefore we obviously feel the searching time. |
