Hey guys,
I would like to use my Z to play with RFID tags. I have a 13.56 ACG reader that should use /dev/ttyS0 on a standard linux machine. How would I get this working on my Z? How do I verify it's working also? http://www.rfdump.org/dl/rfdump_pl.gz This is a sample script that works on linux. ( Perl script ) It looks very simple I suppose. The reader just sits there and waits until data is sent to it. JP |

I've recently started doing some work on RFID and I would also love to get my Z talking to an RFID reader/writer. Especially because for in the field a self contained reader is easy enough to design but a reader/writer would need something like the Z to be able to make changes.
All of the research I've done points to that none of these tools are working on the Z yet. I might try to do some work on the software if I can get the hardware to work better on its own first. |
