I am building a program to run on Qtopia/OPIE, and I am trying to create a decent IPK for it. We have the IPK working, but only if installing in main memory. I can't find information on how to build the IPK in such a way that it will work for a SD or CF install too.
Then, we install a configuration file with a lot of default settings. On the old SL-5500, that worked nicely by just adding the file to /home/root/Settings, but the newer devices support user accounts... Is there a way to handle that gracefully? |
