Is there a version of PDAXROM for the zaurus sl-5500? If not, will it be in the future?

No, I doubt it ever will be. I think you can run pocketworkstation on it though, you'll need to do a search for that though..

Another option (if you don't want to get rid of Qtopia/Opie) is Xqt - I use this and it's great.
If you're worried about not having all the libs you may need to run stuff from the pdaXrom feed then fair enough, but note that the pdaXrom binaries are ARM5 and so many of them won't run on the ARM4 (StrongArm SA1110) 5500 anyway. Si |

I was hoping an using abiword amd having a cooler looking desktop. Xqt looks like it will realy complex to get it to run; i'm still learning linux. I gess I just need to wait till the c860s get cheaper.
