People have discussed here many times building a device to replace the Zaurus.
Here is something which could be the core of it. We just need a few extra components and some nice boxes... http://www.compulab.co.il/x270em/html/x270-em-datasheet.htm |

I wonder how hard it would be to fit that in a Zaurus shell?

looks great till you add up the price with all the features and the mark up on single units (2.5x)
work is under way, there is a new guy on board who i have been talking to and has really gotten the ball rolling again, time will tell. i think by the time its done there will be more powerful units but i think the feature set of this design will make up for it, that and the curveballs i am throwing into the design, as i have said in private i am building this machine to last. i refuse to skimp on the quality of components of course wait till i produce somthing first at the moment im all talk |

I saw that the other day, and some guy discussing it said the same price thing. Unfortunate, really, as it looks like a fun product.
