I am trying to find a serial USB cable for a SL4 simpad. I read somewhere that The SLC uses a S25/35, which I'm guessing is a datacable for the C25/S25/C35/S35 phones.

Can anyone confirm this?

They are not the same. You need a custom cable because IIRC the power settings are different. This could fry your simpad or pc port.

You'd be much better creating the cable yourself or ordering one.

Wow, thats fast, thnx.

Too bad, but I gather from your comment the connector will fit though?

The thing is, I'd like to get myself a SL4 before the december holidays so I can get GPE running and do some MMC/Bluetooth modding. However most of the eBay prices are just a bit above what I'm willing to pay, but there are some pads whithout cable for sale. If I can get a cable elsewhere I might go for one of those, But I can't find a place to get them.

And as a last resort, If I can get a connector, I could put together something myself. Not sure if this would be very durable but at least it'd get me going.

Hello

purchase any s25/35 accessory - you'll get a connector. I did a second cable myself for a GSM addon I am testing...
