Damn Small Linux is a very versatile 50MB mini desktop oriented Linux distribution
http://damnsmalllinux.org/ maybe we can run DSL without SD card so it will be faster I think |

As far as i know, DSL is compiled for 386 only |

There's no real point. DSL is optimized to run on old i386 hardware, much as distros like pdaX and Angstrom are optimized to run on the Z.
