I'm going to wait until there is a full *.ipk release for the Zaurus with dependencies listed, (and where to get them), or included.

QUOTE(Jon_J @ Jun 23 2006, 09:42 PM) I'm going to wait until there is a full *.ipk release for the Zaurus with dependencies listed, (and where to get them), or included. I could only compile a version for an SL-5500 with original Sharp ROM, because that's all we got right now. Since there are many ROMs and different devices out there it's really difficult to get this thing to work everywhere so if you're really interested you can take an active part, join #milkytracker on Espernet and help us. |

Hey, nice work!
Is there any specific reason for why it's not open source? |

The source code sucks =) Sounds like you definitly should open it then... that is, if you want to get input for improvements. Access to the source code would mean inclusion into OE and it could be built for a lot of machines, including Zaurus and iPAQ handhelds. That way you would get a huge amount of testers as well. |
