Hi,
Since yesterday I found that the attachments in my posts are gone, with only a "[attachment=1234:blahblahblach....blahblahblah]" left in the attachment links. Example: http://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=24877 The same happens to many other posts (although I am not sure how general the problem is). Please help. Many thanks! |

They are all still valid... I can still download attachments from March 2007... So I will just have to see if there is some type of attachment expiration
Late PS. I even went back as far as 2005 :-) |

I have the same problem, my attachments are also missing from these 2 recent posts:
http://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=24768 (post 2) http://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=24787 (post 4 & 5) The above aren't really important attachments, but I was wondering where they went? One more attachment went missing: (recent post) Capn_Fish's post for "Updated Wifi Radar" http://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=24790 |

Hi there,
It's been a few days and I discovered many of the recent uploads (not just Jon_J's and mine) are lost. Would there be any fix for that? Thanks! |

Hi again,
Just want to ask about the current status. Are those attachments gone for good? Shall I upload again to replace them? Will the new upload expire again? Thanks for looking into this. Have nice weekend. zdevil |

I opened a ticket up with IPB. I'll let you know what they say.

I opened a ticket up with IPB. I'll let you know what they say. I got a reply back from IPB. They apparently dont know what it is and for some reason, there's a chunk of data missing in the database about the attachments. Do you guys still have the files? Can you reupload? If not, I can check and make sure they're still on the actual server if you give me filenames and then I can reupload. |

Thanks for the feedback.
I still have the files, so that's perfectly fine. I was just thinking of what would happen if the old packages show up again in the same post after I upload new ones there. But now it is clear now. |
