need to know if I can flash my sl-6000L with the 6000W rom and use the keyboard mapping correctly and the wifi and bluetooth(with socket card)? I would like to do this for my girlfriend but I sold my 6000W 2 years ago. thanks for your help

I am fairly sure you can do that, so long as the W had the same flash memory size as the L. The Wifi should be the same, but I think you'll have to do something different about a CF bluetooth card - the W's bluetooth is connected via serial lines to the CPU, whereas CF will be a serial emulation of some sort.
You *might* get an error when the L boots saying it can't find the bluetooth device, so might have to hack a script. Not sure what the benefit would be though at the end of the day. |
