Now that's a sweet piece of PDA! 30Gb hard drive in the palm of your hand? That's as much as my PIII laptop's got.
I can see it being a brilliant Multi-media device (Heck, the thing's basically a pocket TiVo), but not a terribly brilliant PDA. I find the built-in hardware keyboard of the Zaurii just so useful and obvious that I don't think I could contemplate a PDA without it (especially if you're going to be hacking around at the command line with it). Also, there's somthing that I didn't spot on the picture on the website is a headphone socket. I wouldn't be surprised if USB headphones exist, but would it have been so hard to squeeze a 3.5mm jack in somewhere? Anyway, nice device. When's OE being ported to it? |

When's OE being ported to it? um... did you read the specs on the PMA400? It has a headphone jack, it also has audio/video in and out, you can do pretty much anything with it! ive had mine for a couple of months now and is amazing. Ive taken pictures directly from my camera and stored them on the hard drive, ive used it to move files around on an mp3 player my son has, ive recorded movies at night using the timer and watched then during my lunch breaks, ive surfed the internet during layovers while traveling to visit my gfriend. its simply amazing! the only thing is that i wish there were more apps ported for it, they are comming but im impatient. anyways, yes there is a headphone jack. dennis |
