Greetings,
I compiled ScummVM 0.8.0 for iWMMX PXA270 (ie SL-Cxx00 on RC12). It works great in 640x480 fullscreen (instead of 320x240 with older versions). All your Lucas Art games should run (including Monkey Island 3 if you set your CPU @ 624 Mhz) and a lot more (Beneath a Steel Sky, Fight of the Amazon Queen, Broken Sword ... are freely downloadable on http://www.scummvm.org/downloads.php). MP3-Compressed monster.so3 is supported with DOTT (tested and recommanded) but .sog OGG-compressed won't work. Please report any wrong behaviour. IPK is here : http://zaurus.maxg.info/ |

QUOTE(maxg @ Dec 3 2005, 02:38 PM) I compiled ScummVM 0.8.0 for iWMMX PXA270 (ie SL-Cxx00 on RC12). I get "Illegal instruction" when I try to run this. Do I need to install anything extra to run iWMMX compiled stuff? I got the same error when I tried to run ruby that was compiled for PXA270, in the end I had to install the 'regular' version. -- cheers |

Well, that's really strange. If you are using the latest RC12, it should run out of the box, but my only guess would be it is due to the SL-C3100, after all there is none available for pdaX developpers for testing, and maybe iWMMX isn't totally supported yet. You should make sure you are using the RC12 feed as well (mainly the SDL packages), but I suppose you are already. Maybe other SL-C3100 user could see if they have the same error ?

Works a treat!, MPEG2 support missing though - Broken Sword Cutscenes need this.

QUOTE(LukeHall @ Jan 12 2006, 10:17 PM) Um how do you exit? CTRL-q to exit. You should read this: http://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?act=P...441&qpid=110723 What I want to know is how to load and save games. According to the above: CODE Ctrl 0-9 and Alt 0-9 - Load and save game state But that doesn't seem to do anything, futhermore: CODE F5 - Displays a save/load box Doesn't do anything either. NB I have mapped the Fn + digit to behave as F1 etc (and it works outside of scummvm). -- cheers |

I'm glad it works, however do you still have problems to save and load game states ? CTRL+0..9 and ALT+0..9 should work, but I couldn't test it on a C3100 or with a 1.1.0beta1
I hope I could post some hot new games for our beloved zaurus soon, but I think I'll update to gcc 3.4.5 first. |

I've only tried Flight of the Amazon Queen, and after reading the readme file that came with the game I realise that I can use the journal to save/load/quit. QUOTE CTRL+0..9 and ALT+0..9 should work, but I couldn't test it on a C3100 or with a 1.1.0beta1 According to the readme for ScummVM those keys should work for FOTAQ but they don't work for me. In fact it seems to ignore the ALT key altogther, ie if I press "ALT-1", it thinks I pressed "1" and selects the first item in my inventory -- cheers |

Just to be sure, we are talkin about the control key next to the Fn key and the Alt key is the next one, right ?

By any chance does the ipk for scummvm have support for Humungous Entertainment games? The only scumm game CD I had ready access to was a "Buzzy the Knowledge Bug" Game.
On a Windows PC version of scummvm the game was recognized. On the zaurus, scummvm couldn't find the game in the directory. |

This build was configured with a lot of optional features disabled to keep the package small and fast. You may compile the latest version yourself and enable Humungous games in the ./configure step.

The site this file is hosted at seems to be down. Is there anybody who can point me to a correct download location?
Thanks! |
