I like it. Feels pretty fast, and since I've only had experience of 3.3.6pre1 (having a C860) its much more stable. I do miss the speed of X11 though.
The only thing I can fault is that I wish I could resize the root and home. I've tried doing this manually, but it seems that OZ re-sets them on boot. Also, the right shift key is STILL not a shift key. - Bundabrg |

Funnily enough I have both of these cards.
I'll take a look tomorrow and see what I can find. Si This post has been edited by lardman: Oct 4 2004, 01:46 PM |

heh you have both of those nice coincidence. what kind of gps unit do you have and what all do you use it for with your z? i have been thinkin about gettin a gps.
oh and what do you use your 5500 for ever since getting my 860 its been pretty much collecting dust untill couple days ago when i dustedit off to check how 3.5.1 worked on it. other than that its been sitting untouched for several months. |

5500 has been running GPE for testing purposes while the 750 runs Opie.
GPS hasn't seen much service for a while, but I was part way through writing a speed camera warning program - you can get cvs files of speed camera locations (for the UK) on the web, I was going to get my Z to warn me when I was approaching one. This has been on the backburner for a while though as I'm trying to finish my PhD write-up. Si |
