Hi,
I'm just wondering if someone has some assembly pictures for the 5600 (poodle). I'm looking for the memory chip manufacturer/number and if the board has 1 or 2 BGA chips? the poodle has 32M of RAM, so is it 1 chip? of 256Mbits or 2 chips of 128Mbits? Regards, Ced. |

I've contacted a UK company which do BGA rework (www.printsys.co.uk)
CODE Hello Cedric.
Are the BGA`s Leadfree or Leaded? We normally charge £50.00 per component, that would be removal of old chip, clean-up of the pads and placement of the new device total = £100.00 Would you be able to show a picture of the board so we can see if it would be suitable for our rework station. Best Regards, Stuart. cedric bompart wrote: Dear Sir, I'm just wondering if you could do small quantity of upgrade of memory chip (BGA type) from a PDA device. The BGA rework will be to upgrade 32M to 128M of RAM (2 chips). Could you give me a quote for a single device and another quote for a small/medium amount? Regards, Cedric. |
