I am new to Zaurus but very familiar with minimal Linux distributions.
I go to "Network & Sync" and setup a new service "USB-TCP/IP" with: IP Address: 192.168.129.201 Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255.0 Broadcast: 192.168.129.255 Gateway: 192.168.129.1 However, when I run a terminal session and look at the routing table it only has the local network route and no default route!! Why isn't the default route added ?? Specification of a Gateway address implies a default route. What do I need to do to have it configured automatically? It all works properly when I add the default route by hand. (route add default gw 192.168.129.1) I have an SL-550 with 2.38 ROM |
