Hello. I have problems like other people with cacko, with wifi cards like newer ambicom etc.... prismIII based. There is already a bug filed in cacko bug database, and I added a contribution (comment) to that bug, but I also want to open a discussion here.
I found an openembedded bug that seems to show that such cards would cleanly run wpa only with newer wpa_spplicant version (at least 0.4.8) but version in cacko is 0.3.8 ... That may be the source of the different problems here and there. I was wondering how it is possible to update wpa_supplicant, since this is not part of an updatable package in cacko ???? Is it necessary to update the entire system ??? Eric |

Ok. I was completly wrong, sorry. There was an error in the wpa_supplicant.conf file. I don't know why, since it was in the last example of a network config. I simply deleted this part and all is ok. Sorry again...
