Hi,
Our company has just switched to WPA (finally) and now the SL6000 can't connect wirelessly anymore. I saw a thread somewhere that Sharp had a beta update for WPA support, but only for large corporations. Is there anyone here that has it? Or is there some other way to get WPA working on the SL6000? Any help or hints would be appreciated |

to resurrect this old thread... the 6000's wifi is a prism chipset with USB interface, supported ONLY by wlan-ng, which isn't compatible with WPA supplicant.
I recently asked on the wlan-ng mailing list whether anyone had contemplated doing anything about this, but no answer: http://lists.linux-wlan.com/pipermail/linu...May/013708.html Your only choice as I see it is to get a prism2/3 CF adaptor and use that with wpa |
