Does anyone know where the console is on the 6000L? I have followed the instructions and looked under applications, terminal, but it isn't there for selection. I want to be able to create executables, If I don't have the compiler installed, how do I go about getting it?

You have to install a terminal app. Install qconsole, which is very nice.
