Libc.so: File Format Not Recognized Options

Hello,

A newbie in Linux.

I am trying to issue make command for a makefile meant for ARM based controller.
Using forums and some other help materials, i am now successful in debugging most of the errors i faced during compilation but at this point of time, I am stuck with following error

A lot has been discussed abt this on forums re modiying the libc.so files , tried out all tht i could,nothing seems to be working.. i need some support/guidance from all of you here.

Try doing a

CODE

file /path/to/libc.so

It may not be an ARM lib.
