I just got a 8GB Transcend SD HC card from Fry's. About $130 if I recall. Even with driver updates I can't get it to work.
Has anyone else tried? I think I will take it back and try for a 4GB PQI or similar. Does anyone have rec of a 4GB that works really well with the Zaurus? Cheers |

I have a 4Gb PQI That initially gave me probs but once I learned to format and partition it correctly its been one of the best devices for my Z. What are you using for a ROM? Can you even see the card with fdisk? What happens when you type dmesg?
Just to clarify. If your using a Sharp based rom. Open up a console. then type. # fdisk /dev/mmcda this should bring you to fdisk. Type p to find out how many partitions the card has. It may have 3 - 4 . You may want to repartition it to have only one or two depending how you want to use it. Hope this helps. |

Sorry.
I have a 3100 and am running Cacko (the latest version). I have read through the list and have tried the two drivers that are avalible. fdisk does not show anything, also when I see it boot with the card in I get a message saying it cant open it. I will try and play with it a bit more but it seem like its a no go. Too bad cause 8GB would be nice. |

Take a look at this thread.
http://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=22615 It seems that the SDHC has been hacked according to the last post in that thread. |
