Hello.
I'm using OZ 3.5.4.2-rc2 with Opie. I didn't have luck getting a wireless connection using the Opie network interface, so I used the guide for Tosa on the OZ wiki. In my /etc/network/interfaces I have the line CODE wireless_ng_authtype opensystem which is what my wireless network requires (works with my laptop) however, when I open opie-terminal and type in iwconfig, the output includes the line QUOTE Security mode: restricted can anyone help me fix this ? |

Ok, there was also an applicable line in the /etc/wlan/wlancfg-mynetworkname file.
It said AuthType="opensystem" I removed the quotes, and now iwconfig shows that there is an opensystem However, udhcpd still does not connect. I noticed that in iwconfig's output the bit QUOTE IEEE 802.11-DS however, in my working laptop interface it specs QUOTE IEEE 802.11g does this make a difference ? |
