Here is a section of the Wiki Page which explains this: The armel port is now available from the normal Debian mirrors (you can see the full list at Debian Mirrors). An example using a mirror in Germany: # official deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian unstable main # old sources probably no longer available... add this line if you want latest packages from oesf : deb http://matrixmen.free.fr/zaurus/debian sid main contrib non-free This is now up to date. Thanks to the Wiki page contributor and to the post from dkm which persuaded me to update this post. This post has been edited by tux: Apr 30 2008, 10:17 AM |

Debian-ports no longer has the armel repository; need to switch to a debian mirror.

I think this is more up-to-date for EABI armel sources:
OESF wiki for Debian on EABI post install tips (www.oesf.org/index.php?title=1-For_Debian_EABI). By the way, I still haven't figured out why everyone seems to not include the security update repository when the mention what to install. Anyone know the reason? Just curious as someone new to Debian. |

What is the correct sources to add at this time? With the default one that comes with the debian eabi root fs it works but a few of them don't respond or update.
I tried modifying it to contain one of the us debian mirrors according to http://www.oesf.org/index.php?title=1-For_Debian_EABI but then it wont even install anything on an "apt-get dist-upgrade", and it also gives me a few errors about not finding a couple repositories on an update. Can anyone post their source list? Hopefully one that contains everything I could possibly need (main, experimental, testing, zaurus specific, source, or whatever). I'm not used to debian and having to guess and sarch for the right repositories. |
