Does anyone have a copy of the kernel source for the original Sharp ROM for the SL6000?
Quickening has offered to recompile some modules for my Tosa for me, and we have been unable to locate all the source code that is needed to replicate the Sharp ROM I have. My /proc/version says: Linux version 2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix-021129 (yasui@iwamoto-del) (gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)) #1 Sat, 14 Feb 2004 17:11:16 +0000 thanks, sdjf

I have been trying to get dhcpd working on my Tosa, and searching the forum and the web, I am finding people able to get dhcp working to sync or upload to a PC, but nobody talking about the Tosa as a server. I have Sharp ROM 1.12
Has anyone got the right drivers hanging around? The usbnet.o that I am trying to insmod crashes the Tosa, and the CDCEther that I have is not binding to the Collie when I plug the collie in. I have seen mention of a usbdnet.o module, has anyone used that successfully and have one lying around or have other advice? thanks, sdjf

Quickening is upgrading his server so the feed is down temporarily.
So if you go there and find an error 404, don't panic, the feed at quickening will be back soon. Maybe just a few hours, but could also be days, depending on the problems that need solving, but it will be back online for sure. But he has a whole lot more there than just basic Zaurus apps (mostly Sharp compatible but others as well). His page on my site that talks about his great stuff is at http://sdjf.esmartdesign.com/scripts/kyle.html sdjf

I have not posted in a long time, so many forum members may not know I have a Zaurus website that is geared mostly towards newbies but I hope has a lot of handy stuff for old timers still using Sharp ROMs on the Collie or Tosa. It includes links to software I recommend. And most of the command line stuff and tutorials have information of use to folks using other ROMs as well because it still is basic Linux.

I accidentally disabled the toolbar in Netfront 3.1 on my sl6000.
Does anyone know how to get it back? I googled and could not find an answer. Tried entering various single capital letters as shortcuts and those did not do anything. Thanks, sdjf |
