Hi
Is there any where a documentation for the files on the server http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/unsta...autobuild/c7x0/ ? Especially for the files without a descriptive name like zImage-c7x0.bin And are the files [ ] zImage-kexecboot-2.6.23-r0-c7x0.bin 13-Dec-2008 19:37 1.1M [ ] zImage-kexecboot-2.6.26-r6-c7x0.bin 16-Dec-2008 14:18 1.1M [ ] zImage-kexecboot-c7x0.bin 16-Dec-2008 14:18 1.1M on that server kexec boot kernels or normal kernels for sharprom? regards Bernd |

Just guessing, because I have spitz.
zImage-c7x0.bin can be renamed to zImage.bin, copied to card and then flashed using Sharp flashing utility. zImage-kexecboot-c7x0.bin can be booted from another kexec capable kernel (I am afraid that Sharp ROM cannot kexec). There are two versions. Each of them has probably different bugs. For more try to search distro list and machine specific howtos. |

>zImage-kexecboot-2.6.26-r6-c7x0.bin 16-Dec-2008 14:18 1.1M These are the new kexecboot kernels. Work in progress...please retry later... zImage-c7x0.bin is a symlink to zImage-2.6.23-r34-c7x0.bin Ant |
