I have a Targus usb Bluetooth adapter. When I plug it into Z (Akita), it is recognized, only after doing a "modprobe ohci-hcd".
dmesg reports: <6>usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using pxa27x-ohci and address 7 <6>usb 1-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice <6>hub 1-2:1.0: USB hub found <6>hub 1-2:1.0: 3 ports detected <4>hub 1-2:1.0: insufficient power available to use all downstream ports <6>usb 1-2.1: new full speed USB device using pxa27x-ohci and address 8 <6>usb 1-2.1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice <6>usb 1-2.2: new full speed USB device using pxa27x-ohci and address 9 <6>usb 1-2.2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice <6>input: Broadcom Corp BCM92045DG-Flash_UHE as /class/input/input6 <6>power.c: Adding power management to input layer <6>input: USB HID v1.11 Keyboard [Broadcom Corp BCM92045DG-Flash_UHE] on usb-pxa27x-2.2 <6>usb 1-2.3: new full speed USB device using pxa27x-ohci and address 10 <6>usb 1-2.3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice <6>input: Broadcom Corp BCM92045DG-Flash_UHE as /class/input/input7 lsusb reports: Bus 1 Device 11: ID 0a5c:4503 Broadcom Corp. I sent this message to the user list as well, but there has been no reply, so I thought I'd put it here too...

It is official, Koen has been replaced by a robot, or one of those "drinking bird" toys tapping away at the paste key.
All hail our new robot/drinking-bird overlords. |

QUOTE(speculatrix @ Jul 18 2007, 07:40 AM) QUOTE(BarryW @ Jul 18 2007, 06:00 AM) dunno why he's here then, except to troll I guess koen's first post QUOTE Hello, With the arrival of familiar 0.8, built with bitbake and OpenEmbedded a new era of cooperation has begun. With OpenZaurus, OpenSimpad and Familiar sharing the build system I thought it would be a good idea to a place in this forum where people with Familiar installed on their handhelds can share their experiences, problems and solutions. So here I am requesting that From A Home For The Familiar People koen's 7th post QUOTE Since the OZ team has seen the light and removed the word 'ROM' from openzaurus.org, I think oesf should do the same for the OZ sections. As a second thing: oesf seems to be very (QT)OpieZaurus, there's no gpe/pixil section or even a general X section. Was that intentional? From Removing 'rom' From All Oz Sections As you can read from these threads, I have supported koen in all of this. I admire koen for his intellect, and I am very thankful for all the help that he has given me on irc. That said, you do not need his approval to discuss anything Zaurus related in this thread, or in this forum. Yes, this would include Angstrom. Greg |

I think they simply don't realise how much they all know and how far behind we are! They need to find some people of intermediate level who can provide support and documentation without getting bored! |

Your kind words underestimate us, we are really all just kids with ADD and total social ineptitude from using computers too much :-) But seriously, yes it would be great for more users to become power users then start helping other users. As a lot of the time we are focussed on the code and core problems. Niceties and polish take time. |
