I can see the opi "click anywhere" screen but it doesn't accept any clicks. I can login to the system fine via the terminal and everything works great - the only thing I keep getting is a "mcp: write timeout" anyone know what this is or have any idea how to fix the touchpad not accepting input problem? I'm running a variation of the 0.9 release.

If it's a touchscreen sensetivity problem, try suggestion posted on the other thread (changing value in /etc/ts.conf).
I'm also getting mcp: write timeout error messages. -albertr |

It may be that the mcp issue is unrelated but I don't see any other errors. Thanks! |

Everyone gets the mcp: write timeout messages, I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with it...

Interesting ... I've just flashed my SL4 with a fresh build of opensimpad and got the same problem - stuck on initial calibrate touchscreen screen. Anyone know what has changed in OE during last six months that could cause that?

(Thanks to Frederic Devernay for this info) |

No, I'm still using 2.4.25. Any idea what was changed and how to get it working with old 2.4.25 kernel?
EDIT: Err, was a typo in the number. -albertr |

Just reverted back changes made for 2.6 kernel. There're two files you need to change on Simpad, both are text files: /etc/ts.conf and /etc/profile.d/tslib.sh. Both could be easily edited on Simpad by hand.
Here's the links to changes needs to be reverted: http://openembedded.bkbits.net:8080/openem...?nav=index.html http://openembedded.bkbits.net:8080/openem...?nav=index.html -albertr |
