For the life of me, I can't find a way to buy Tree!Explorer_QT Plus. When I go to the Handandgo website, it tells me that it is not available. Any alternate methods I'm not finding?
Thanks in advance! |

From what I have read, the full version has a "Send File" function, that is not available in the "free" version.
Someone told me you can send files through Bluetooth from Tree!Explorer+ if you make a script for it. I don't have the full version. I haven't figured out how to send a money order to the author or person handling registration. |

It's not a "Send File" function, it's a "Send To" function which lets you open a selected file with an installed application of your choice.
You can add installed applications to the Send To list. |

All that functionality sounds great! But I still can't find a way to buy and register. The authors homepage link sends me to the "handango" site that tells me the product is unavailable. I'll keep checking back for a solution. Thanks to all.

dougdeebear, here's the post that mentions that "Send To" can be used for Bluetooth.
He says with some "ingenious scripting". http://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...22&hl=bluetooth post #2 Maybe it can be done. It would be nice to know if someone can do this. |

That's way over my head, Jon
BTW, has anyone tried to email the author? His email link is near the bottom of his home page. |

Some Updated Info:
If you go to the Japanese site (click on the "Japanese" link at the top of the page) there is an updated version and links for registering. It's all in Japanese, so I can't read what it says. |

How-to Register Tree!Explorer QT Plus+ for for people who can't read Japanese
Goto the authors Japanese homepage at: http://www.tree-explorer.com/zausl/teqt_p.php Scroll down to and click the Handango Japan option. (You might want to also d/l ver. 1.7.9 while you are there since this is the version the reg key is for.) Click the longer green button next to the Tree!Explorer image. On the menu at the bottom of the page select Handango.com. At the top of the page click on cart. Robin EDIT: I've made graphical instruction, that can be found at: http://mysite.verizon.net/niborton/regteplus.html |

Worked brilliantly! Thanks so much for this; simple when you know what to do, completely baffling when you don't... If you go through the process, gaijin Handango gives you the option of downloading 1.7.9 at the end anyway, so it's not essential to do it from the Japanese page.

Your more than welcome. to be honest though I figured it out through blind scrambling. I can't read Japanese either. Robin |
