There is an interesting article about the Trolltech Developer Days in Munich. Qtopia 4 is also mentioned there. I quoted the Qtopia 4 part of the article below.

In my opinion, it would be nice, if a new major version of Qtopia could bring Trolltech and the developer community (Opie/OpenZaurus/...) here closer together again, at least for the PDA edition, and binary incompatible ROMs based on Qt Embedded 4 can be avoided. Because I think binary incompatible ROMs are not user and not (application) developer friendly. |

I wish they had an intermediate license, which allowed hobby/shareware development, so the price of entry was much lower. |
