Does not work
iwconfig wlan0 channel 6 root@tosa:~# ifup wlan0 Using /lib/modules/2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix/wlan-ng/p80211.o Using /lib/modules/2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix/wlan-ng/prism2_usb.o ok. udhcpc (v0.9.9-pre) started Sending discover... No lease, forking to background. root@tosa:~# iwconfig wlan0 channel 6 Error for wireless request "Set Frequency" (8B04) : SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported. |

I am not sure which rom you are using, but for the default Sharp rom, just use the Network setup application on the Settings tab.

I don't think you need to set the channel, the prism-chipset wifi adaptor will switch channel to find the access point defined as essid

I need to set up channel for airodump. |
