Which mod do I have to thank for setting up this board?
And I was just starting to think that my flurry of sometimes-manic and sometimes-questionable posts during the last few days were going to hurt my credibility |

Suggestion - It would be nice if whoever is moving posts and threads around would let the users involved know that their post has been moved, the reason, and where it has been moved to. This has left me confused a few times in the past few days when a post I had written or a thread I had subscribed to went missing.

I dont think he'll have any problems with it, but I wanna get his clearance first. Also as far as moving threads, I left a link in the original forum it resided in that comes to this thread. |

Actually, I have never been in a moderating position before. I think I could handle it, but would need to someone to teach me the general guidelines for moderating and how to use the mod controls.
EDIT: I see now that most forums on ZUG do not have a specific moderator, so I do not think it would be necessary for the C3000. I was just offering to fill a job that I thought would be needed. |

There are things that we have in motion that will increase the popularity of the community soon, so I'd imagine we might want to start having some more mods in time. |

While I agree that notification of moves would be nice, I can't expect the admins to do this for every post move, especially when moving a ton of posts to a new forum.... when we do move posts, there's an option to leave a 'link' from the original post to the new post. I personally don't like these 'link posts as I think it will just clutter the forums over time. I haven't set an official stance about this on the forums... I guess I need to document the forum admin guidelines. |
