Apart from

video accell/ overlay

cpu frequency scaling

are there any other features of the cxx00 line missing or only partially working under the latest 2.6 kernel? Good to hear about the support for > 1gb sd cards be introduced- anyone tried a 4GB SD card yet?

Also, from what I hear, Linux on the HTC uni is still very pre-alpha. How can this be? I know it has a few more gadgets built in but otherwise I would've expected the bulk of the hardware to be very similiar to the cxx00 and so i would've expected OE to be at a similar stage.

Today we've had the first user with a 4GB sd card reporting some problems which we need to debug.
As far as the universal is concerned, nobody of the OE team has an universal (hint wink.gif ) and we haven't heard from the universal devs about patches. Adding support for the universal would require a kernel and someone writing a machine.conf file (~10 minutes of work). Any volunteers?

Well thats strange as I'm sure they're using OE as their base for porting Linux to the uni. They haven't made any releases yet as they just tell you to use oe/bitbake to compile it yourself whenever I've enquired on #htc-blueangel

Xen wink.gif it would be nice to run cacko and OZ side by side

i dont expect to see this happen as arm platforms typically dont have much mem and there would be little benifit in offering it for an embedded platform
