 movie player for zaurus 5500 |

Hi all, i am the proud owner of the sl 5500 zaurus, i am currently runnning the sharp rom 3.13. I would like to be able to play ogg and movie files on it, the media player is horribly slow. I have tried to find a working mplayer, but the ipk's are not recognised. So can anyone tell me of a freeware movie player for 5500, or should i just ditch the sharp rom and go for the openzaurus 3.3.6pre1 rom with its apllications?

Opie Mediaplayer should work under the Sharp roms, It has a nice gui and supports a number of formats, I believe it is FFMPEG based.

you can try to manually install the ipks with:
ipkg install whatever.ipk or just untar the ipk and data.tar.gz |
