The Qtopia 1.7 SDK for developing commercial applications will be available shortly.
This can be used for creating applications for Archos PMA400 and Sharp Zaurus.

The GPL sdk is available from you know where...

Is this the same multimedia SDK as the one mentioned on Archos site, www.pma400.com or a separate SDK?

No, I think it's just the regular Qtopia SDK like for the Zaurus.
