I have used both and the winner is OP2 Opie Player 2 for playing of mpeg, avi and mp3s. The frame rate of OP2 is much better in my opinion but if you are using the tkc rom you will need a swap file to give OP2 the memory it needs to play good quality mpeg movies.

Although there are several ipks in the feeds I found this one here http://www.flagar.com/en/software/zaurus
to have be the best one for SHARP based ROMS as it has all the CODECS for playing mpegs and mp3s in it. You will still need to create a swapfile (8MB in USR not DF or SD) to view large mpegs or op2 will usualy lockup when playing the file. You might considder using the tkc v1 ROM as it certainly has more space without the Sharp media player Hancom office and PIMS installed by default. |

Thanks again! |
