I have a 6000 that the "charging" LED on the unit never goes off as long as the Z is powered off. I can leave it plugged in for days, and that LED will never go off. However, if I charge with the unit remaining powered on, the LED turns off when the unit is charged ( as I would expect.) The unit appears to charge properly as I can use it on battery power for the amount of time I'd expect.
Any thoughts on what's happening? I've tried this with 2 separate batteries with the same result. (I'm using OZ/Opie 3.5.3 in case that matters.) Cheers, Randall. |

Hello
Try with a normal kernel or sharp rom and see if it helps |

Yes, it is a kernel bug. Sharp kernel correctly controls power/charge LED while off.
