Anything! =P Well if you can get the drivers down... then yes... if the CF usb card support 2.0 and OTG you will get 2.0 speed... as long as it has the "high speed" usb otg bridge... Late |

Think about...
The cpu does not manage the throughput. |

actually you would max out the CF bus as well, i wouldnt expect to see high speed throgh a CF card
i have seen a NSLU (same proc at 233Mhz) max out a usb 2.0 link while transfering the data over 100Mbit lan so its not really an issue of cpu speed |

QUOTE(Da_Blitz @ Oct 31 2006, 01:34 AM) NO, hardware limitation 12Mbps is USB 2.0 How about a CF->PCMCIA adapter + PCMCIA USB2.0 card? I don't want/need full 480Mbps, just more than 11Mbps (mini harddrive+wifi+VGA card, maybe also LAN and BT). What I'm actually planning to do is to make a snap-on 'dock' for my Z, with this stuff and an aditional battery. And don't tell me to wait for your OpenPDA cuz I don't want to pay for it with my first pension check. =P |

QUOTE PCMCIA USB2.0 card I doubt these exist, in fact I doubt even USB 1.1 PCMCIA cards exist, they are all PC cards which aren't the same. Si |

Si It's my understanding that "PC Card" is what PCMCIA was renamed to. *shrug* http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PC_card EDIT: I read a bit further down and it says that the name changed when version (type?) two came out. Sorry. |

PCMCIA = 16bit
cardbus = 32bit The zaurus implements a pcmcia interface, so you're 16 bits short |
