Ok, most of us around here have working zaurii.... However, I know some of you have duds just sitting around. My z's sd slot is dead, which is kind of limiting. I am looking to pick one up. I emailed brett at conics awhile ago but I never got a final response. The board just plugs into the mother board and is easily removed. Anyone who is looking to part of this piece pleeeeease post.

That's what I am hoping. From what I understand they are basically the same except the 3200 was a different version of the motherboard? Either way the SD slot should work

There is an online Japanese site that has all sorts of parts for the Zaurus.
I looked through my 300+ Zaurus bookmarks, but cannot find it. It's mentioned here on this forum somewhere. They carry screen parts, case shells, and a whole lot more for the Zaurus. I just wish I could find it now... |

My 5500 works fine, only it has a crack on the screen and so the touchscreen does not work. If anyone out there has a bricked/broken 5500 (with a working screen) laying around just gathering dust I would be happy to buy it for a fee (postage + ) Just send me a msg or contact me at this address: aca@untergrund.net. This way you know at least part of your old 5500 is being made use of by someone who greatly appreciates it! Jon_J: if you find that link, please post. regards! |

Sorry, I meant revision, not version. Thanks for your help all. Still looking, if anyone has/finds one, please let me know.
