Hi, read that zgps is the software to use for displaying .img vector maps. However after following the instructions and copying the maps into the map directory in the /home/zaurus/zgps.data directory, I still do not see any maps. Muz the gps enabled to view maps? Currently Im still waiting for my gps to be delivered.

Hi, I'm still a beginner with zgps (and I'm not native english speaker, english was always my worst subject) But: If you are familiar with the console, start zgps in it. You will see what is working and what is not found. Maybe the folder "maps" is missing for some reason. Maybe you uses a wrong *.img data format. Regards Halligallo P.S. Maybe the map is a region far away from the starting point, which is shown in zgps without gps informations. |
