Hi All,
I have decided to sell my C860 after having not used it much and unable to sync with Lotus Notes which is a feature I need in a handheld. It is in excellent condition (almost brand new condition) with the original box and everything that came with it. plus many extras I bought thinking I could have used it with my job. My company's VPN software also does not run on this platform, so I could not use it to get remote access into our intranet. Anyway, I have spent over $1000.00 in all and have loaded it with the Cacko ROM. I take extremely great care of all my electronics, so all of this is in excellent condition and looks BRAND NEW. I cannot say enough about how people react to the zaurus with this case. This is depressing. I'm thinking of selling my C750 with all of my accessories for $550, but seeing as you're having such a hard time selling a C860 with even more accessories for that much, I'm a little discouraged.
Has interest in the Cxx0 models dropped so low that they are worth so little? How depressing... |

You can buy PocketPC for example Loox with wi-fi, bluettoth 640x480 128MB RAM/ROM CF and SD, GPS slot USB host _new_ for cca $500 in Europe (not US) (my coleague bought some recently...). One thing Zauris are above is clamshell design and Linux OS (some of Pocket PC can be converted to linux also). Sharp should go with prices of their devices lower by 1/3 to be competitive with other PDA. Because if you buy Z C1000 for $500 you have to buy Bluetooth CF min $50, Wifi min $50 and so on ... and you will end somewere about $800 where in PocketPC market you have top models with Digital Camera, GPS and GSM phone integrated with 600 Mhz processor ... |

With all due respect, that's more than what overseas suppliers are quoting for current models (the C1000 primarily). I understand accessories add up, but even then, spending more money on pristine but used two-year old handheld than a new improved model is a bit hard to swallow. |
