Hi !
I've compiled hostap drivers 0.4.9 with PI for cacko 2.4.20 kernels. http://ldrolez.free.fr/software/zaurus/#witools They work nicely with aireplay-ng ! (and[[ they work even better if you have a prism2 card and use the 1.7.4 firmware instead of a 1.8.4). Cheers, |

Hi,
I am having trouble getting the packages you compiled to work on Cacko 1.23 Full. What I have done is to install the wireless ipk, the hostap drivers (by removing the links and copying the files) When I install the wireless tools and type iwconfig in a console, I get the following error: Warning: Driver for device wifi0 recommend version 18 of Wireless Extension, but has been compiled with version 16, therefore some driver features may not be available. After doing the above, my SL-C1000 will not sync with my AP. What may be happening is that the zaurus is automatically using the old wireless extensions instead of the new ones. I tried removing them, but it is reporting that you can not remove a read only file. |
