Why do they keep churning out dictionaries in such cool form factors, while the UMPC's make such atrocious designs ? Sharp with its Zaurus based dictionaries and now iRiver with this - damn Asia - they get the goodies and we get monstrosities like the Samsung Q1 or Flipbook or whatever. |

I know! It's so frustrating! The way I see it, though, is that the Z suits most of my mobile-computing needs, and SSH and a desktop can solve what the Z alone can't do, so I'm in no big hurry to get a new device ( also because my budget is limited
I thought we wen't down this road before with tablets: the pure slate ones failed, and the convertables succeeded. If history repeats itself, we'll eventually get a good new platform. |

It is a very svelte gadget I must say! And come to think of it ... I almost never use the Z in tablet mode, so the iRiver is a nice design in all.
